In February 2021, I was just 4 months back from a 7 month trip of traveling around South East Asia (hello beautiful Nasi Goreng, if you know, you know) and 1 month away from entering pandemic times.
I had saved for this trip but I knew at one point I would hit a financial wall, run out of money and need to come home to my “real job”. I had so much more of the world to see and I didn’t want to be tied to my life in Ireland for the sake of a job.
Unlike so many, I actually loved my job. I studied psychology and addiction and I had been working for 10 years helping people to change their lives.
This was when I knew something had to change.
But I knew I was ready for more. More freedom.
